build_purchase_transaction
Build an unsigned Ethereum transaction to purchase (mint) a token from an Art Blocks set-price configured project. Returns the full transaction object (to, data, value, chainId) ready to be signed and submitted by a wallet. Supports both `purchase` (mint to the signer) and `purchaseTo` (mint to a different address). Currently supports MinterSetPriceV5 (ETH) across all Art Blocks chains.
get_token_metadata
Retrieve rich metadata for a specific Art Blocks token (minted piece). Returns token details (hash, features/traits, invocation number), current listing info (price, currency, marketplace), project context (name, artist, description, vertical, mint progress), media URLs (image, preview, live view), current owner, direct links to the token and project pages on artblocks.io, and explicit token feature-state fields (`featuresStatus`: `not_defined` | `defined_empty` | `defined`) to distinguish missing vs empty token-level features. Use this when an agent needs to inspect, evaluate, or display a particular token.
scaffold_artblocks_project
Generate a complete Art Blocks project scaffold ready for local development. Returns an index.html (matching the Art Blocks generator structure) and a starter art script with tokenData usage, hash-based PRNG, and canvas setup. This tool scaffolds a SUBSET of Art Blocks supported script types — vanilla JS, p5.js, and Three.js — with curated starter templates. Art Blocks supports many more script types (regl, Tone.js, Babylon.js, A-Frame, Paper.js, Zdog, Processing, custom, etc.) via its on-chain dependency registry; use graphql_introspection or the artblocks://generator-spec resource for the full list. Optionally includes FLEX dependency stubs (IPFS, Arweave, ONCHAIN/PostParams) and window.$features trait assignment. Use this to start a new Art Blocks project or as a reference for converting an existing script. For conversion guidance, also fetch the artblocks://generator-spec resource which includes a step-by-step conversion guide.
get_project
Look up a single Art Blocks project by its ID or slug. At least one of projectId or slug is required. Returns the full project description, tags, artist profiles, floor price, mint progress, featured token image, and a direct artblocks.io link. Also includes trait/feature distribution with per-value counts and percentages (rarity data). Use this when you need detailed information about a specific project. For browsing or searching across multiple projects, use discover_projects instead.
discover_projects
Browse and search Art Blocks projects (collections). Filter by text search (name/artist), chain, vertical, floor price range, tag, mintability status, and whether the project is Art Blocks flagship vs Engine. Returns project metadata with truncated descriptions, floor price, mint progress, featured token image, and a direct artblocks.io link. For full project details (complete description, traits, artist profiles), use get_project with a projectId or slug. Supports pagination and multiple sort options including floor price sorting. Test/dev projects (unassigned vertical) are excluded by default.
get_wallet_summary
Get a high-level summary of an Art Blocks collector portfolio. Accepts a wallet address, ENS name, or Art Blocks username (at least one of walletAddress or username is required). When the address or username resolves to an Art Blocks profile, tokens are aggregated across all wallets linked to that profile. Returns total token count, unique project count, chain distribution, and a per-project breakdown (project name, artist, token count, artblocks.io link) sorted by number of tokens held. Also returns relatedTools with suggested follow-up tools (get_wallet_tokens, get_project). Supports pagination through the project breakdown with limit/offset. Pass a projectId to check holdings in a specific project.
get_wallet_tokens
Retrieve Art Blocks tokens owned by a collector. Accepts a wallet address, ENS name, or Art Blocks username (at least one of walletAddress or username is required). When the address or username resolves to an Art Blocks profile, tokens are aggregated across all wallets linked to that profile. Returns each token with project context (name, artist, vertical), media URLs, features/traits, mint date, and direct links to token and project pages on artblocks.io. Supports filtering by chain and project, pagination, and multiple sort options.
get_project_minter_config
Get the minter configuration for an Art Blocks project — everything an agent needs to decide whether and how to mint. Returns the minter type (set price, Dutch auction, allowlist, RAM, etc.), current price, currency (ETH or ERC-20), auction timing (start/end for DA minters), allowlist details (for Merkle/holder minters), purchaseTo availability, and remaining supply. Use this before calling build_purchase_transaction to understand a project's minting mechanics.
check_allowlist_eligibility
Check whether a wallet address, ENS name, or Art Blocks username is eligible to mint from a gated Art Blocks project. When the input resolves to an Art Blocks profile, all linked wallets are checked for eligibility. Supports two gating mechanisms: Merkle allowlist minters (address must appear on an uploaded allowlist) and holder-gated minters (wallet must own a token from one of the required projects). Returns eligibility status, gate type, and relevant details. Use this before attempting a purchase on any allowlisted or holder-gated project.
discover_postparams
Get available PostParam (Post-Mint Parameter) configurations for an Art Blocks token. Returns param keys, types, constraints, auth requirements, and current values. Use this to discover what can be configured before building a transaction with build_configure_postparams_transaction.
build_configure_postparams_transaction
Build an unsigned transaction to configure PostParam values on an Art Blocks token. PostParams (Post-Mint Parameters) allow token owners and artists to customize on-chain parameters after minting. Requires values to be passed; use discover_postparams first to get available param keys and formats. Each parameter has an authOption that controls who can configure it (Artist, TokenOwner, or both).
discover_upcoming_releases
Find Art Blocks projects scheduled to launch in the future (not yet mintable). Returns projects whose release date (start_datetime) has NOT yet passed, ordered soonest first. Includes minter configuration details (auction times, pricing) and a direct artblocks.io link where available. For projects that are mintable right now, use discover_live_mints instead.
discover_live_mints
Find Art Blocks projects that are currently open for minting RIGHT NOW. Only returns projects that are active, unpaused, have remaining supply, and whose start date has passed. Ordered by most recently launched. Includes minter type, pricing, supply remaining, and a direct artblocks.io link for each project. For projects launching in the future, use discover_upcoming_releases instead.
get_artist
Look up an Art Blocks artist and their projects. Search by artist name (partial match), artist profile slug (exact), or wallet address. At least one of artistName, artistSlug, or artistAddress is required. Returns all projects by the artist with full metadata, floor price, tags, and artblocks.io links.
list_tags
List available project tags in the Art Blocks ecosystem. Returns all distinct tag names that can be used with the discover_projects tag filter. Common tags include: "ab500", "animated", "interactive", "audio", "responsive", "curated series 1", "curated series 2", "curated series 3", "evolving".
