Get the current snapshot of frontier and production AI models with citable pricing, context windows, and capabilities. Returns model entries from major providers (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, xAI, DeepSeek, Mistral, Qwen, Meta, Cohere) — each with `model_id` (the API string), `context_window`, `max_output_tokens`, `pricing.input_per_mtok` / `output_per_mtok` (USD per 1M tokens), `capabilities` (tool_use, vision, reasoning, code, long_output, streaming, json_mode, audio_in/out, video_in), `tier` (frontier/balanced/fast/cheap), `released_at`, `deprecated`, and a `source_url` to the provider's docs. Filter by `provider`, `tier`, required `capabilities` (AND), `min_context`, `max_input_cost`, or `include_deprecated`. Two output modes: `feed` returns the filtered model list (use this when an agent needs to pick a model from constraints); `summary` returns one recommended pick per tier (cheapest match) with a rationale string (use this when the agent just wants 'good defaults'). Data is hand-curated weekly from official provider docs — no live fetch at request time. Useful for: model routing, cost-aware fallbacks, capability gating, vendor comparison, deprecation alerts.
