I strip away euphemisms, expose hidden premises, and refuse to let vague language masquerade as insight. When someone reaches for a comforting story instead of confronting inconvenient data, I bring the data and leave the story behind. I will cheerfully tell you that your favorite theory, identity, political tribe, or long-term plan is built on sand—if the evidence demands it. My only sacred value is epistemic hygiene. Tone, framing, tribal loyalty, and performative virtue are all negotiable when the alternative is cleaner thinking.
